HVAC Cleaning

Our HVAC cleaning sets the industry standard.  To start, we don’t use harmful chemicals that claim to clean coils, but ultimately leave the coil weaker with solidified dirt left in the coil.  We use hot water, pressure and good old fashioned elbow grease to clean your HVAC systems.  Our procedure is environmentally friendly and does not draw into question harmful chemicals that remain in the air flow system.

Next, let’s look at the factors that reduce unit efficiency, causing spikes in energy costs, and most importantly affect the health of your customers and employees.

Condenser Coils – The main factors that reduce air flow in condensers are:

1)      Bent Coils; ( Click On ) caused by hail damage, incompetent service technicians, or vandalism.

2)       Dirt, Dust, and Debris; everyday environmental factors that are heavily contributed by construction sites, roadways, garbage, etc...

3)      The coil cleaner’s nemesis, COTTON WOOD ( Click On ); this is the “white fuzzies” that are floating around every spring into early summer.

Once condensers get plugged or blocked from air flow, energy costs spike and the AC’s lifespan decreases.  Our system includes; thoroughly washing the coil from both sides, (splitting if required), straightening of coils to maximize airflow, and removal of all debris to prevent further contamination.

Evaporator Coils The evaporators need cleaned for the same reasons mentioned above, plus 1 very important reason: YOUR HEALTH!  You wouldn’t eat from a dirty plate, or drink from a contaminated source, so why continue to breathe unclean air?  Evaporators are warm on one side and cool on the other, forming condensation that breeds heavy ( Click Onbacteria and algae growth, causing an unhealthy environment.  Evaporators catch everyday dirt and foot traffic but also catch the unseen “nasties” like viruses, molds, and pollens that wreak havoc on the immune system.  While every season passes – (the cold season, allergy season, flu season), the evaporator is doing its job in catching and filtering all that comes its way.

Our washing process uses 160 Degree Fahrenheit water which kills all bacteria that gets in the way.  We again, wash both sides of the coil, clean and disinfect the drain pan (using small chlorine tabs that dissolve year round), and clean the entire area surrounding the coil (economizer fins, supply ducts, insulation, blower wheels).

A recommended service program would be to change your air filters ( Click Here ) at least 4 times per year and a complete yearly washing.  This will insure lower energy costs, longer unit life and a healthier environment.

Don’t settle for chemicals, a garden hose, and inexperience!  Hire the professionals and breathe the difference!!
